The BMW X5M is one of the most exclusive BMW vehicles. This showroom is a "Mangament Summary" of the two main USPs. The user explores the car by scrolling, for example while scrolling over the engine, the engine turns around. The content is kept short and simple interactions show more information, so that it is easy and fun to explore the showroom. Main feature for each highlight is a intro movie with a highly dynamic "frozen moment".

The BMW X6M is the most powerful vehicle of the BMW fleet. The vertically and horizontally scrollable showroom presents all vehicle features in a compact way, with lare images and short headlines. The main feature for each USP is the intro movie, which shows the vehiclefeature in only a few seconds. The scene looks like "frozen", and the camera moves only very slow around the car. The vehicle appears very powerful, modern and dynamic, whether the scene is nearly only one still image - thanks also to the powerful sound design.

The car configurator for new vehicles is the heart of the BMW website, it is always accessible via the "configure "-button on every page. In this configurator, the car is always in main focus. There is a lot of white space and large bold type to focus the users attention to chosen product features. Inspired by video game car selections the configured car is always visible and immediately updated. All distracting elements are hidden or removed to guide the user through the configuration process.

   
     
 
Online Showroom for BMW 5 Series Active Hybrid.

The BMW 5series hybrid concept car was presented as one of the first allday capable hybrid vehicles. Main part of the showroom is an interactive movie with split screen action. Story of the movie is a person driving home after work, out of the city, safe to his home. Main features of the vehicle are shown in short text-link combinations, if the users wants know more, he can stop the movie and read more.

   
     
 
A pressentation about information in musicvideos.

This is a short presentation to give some advice to young musicians, who produce their own videos. The presentation focusses on some outstanding music videos with unusual stories or content, to bring the mind of the people away from just putting the music performance in a focus, and to change the visible level to something unexpected. And as a positive adverse reaction, get also some knowledge out of a music video.

For this corporate website I developed a system of elements for all kind of digital contents (Text, images, lists, player, teaser, slideshow, etc.), which can always be combined together, just as the clients needed it to have biggest flexibility with the content elements. The website itself is developed with a classical 3 column design, and all designed elements can be used in any column. Al elements are easy to use and to mix up, so that any employees can build an new content site with the CMS system.

The BMW 5 series is a vehicle packed with new technologies, which increase driving dynamics and comfort. So, in the online showroom as well, the user should be able to find all contents easily. I developed short informative movies for the featured technologies like the head up display or the integral active steering, as well as for interior and exterior design. To keep it all in one visible ambience, the key visual from the TV-commercial is used in different views: the 5 series in a clean room, with only an artistic sculpture.

For the launch of the first two BMW Active Hybrid vehicle i developed three showrooms: two for the car and one for the technology. Main part in design, conception and production was the driving movie, which was planned, produced and finished especially for this purpose. Each car is positioned in a another ambiance. Each showroom consists of interactive movies, where the user can intermit in the "hybrid zones" and get more information. The specially composed sound for each vehicle rounds down the showroom for each vehicle.

The idea from the TV-spot "When was the last time you experienced something for the first time?" was turned into a longer interactive version. For the final launch of the model i was responsible for the design and production of the whole showroom, including screen design, storyboard and production of many movies with splitscreen-techniques. The user can experience the "first moments" from the TV-commercial in combination with new USPs of the vehicle.

The showroom was launched for the presentation of the whole new 5 series Gran Turismo Concept Car. The all new vehicle is shown with the new interieur- and exterior concept. I developed a small showroom with an interactive movie of the car. The movie was realized with 3d-technique and consists of one movie shot, going around the car and through the interior back out again. The main features were illustrated with animated icons and offered more readable content.

BMW 7 series is the luxurious flagship of the BMW fleet. All good habits of the vehicle are transferred to the experience of the showroom: it has a lot of content, is easy to use and quite luxurious to use - it is an easy accessible lean back experience. This is combined with an especially composed classic soundtrack to underline the elegance and dynamic of the vehicle. The showrooms main theme are 3 interactive movies, each one showing the car from another perspective: the BMW designer, the driver and the external observer.

To promote and explain the BMW Teleservices this web special should tell potential customers in an emotional way about the advantages of the product. We broke up the product into the three service packages, and developed a story from every day life as a car driver around each service. The stories are told as interactive drawings, each based on one graphical theme, so that everything could be told by pictures and illustrations. At the end there is an informal part with all necessary information.

It is addressed to architects, engineers, electricians and as well public officials. To live up to all those expectations, everything is barrier-free designed. Besides the product presentation the main focus is drawn to communicate the TRILUX philosophy to all users.

During the football world cup 2006 in germany YOC developed this mobile website and promotion materials in line with the "Nike Joga Bonito Tournament". World best soccer players showed tricks and users were able to download these videos, get mobile wallpapers, chat and follow the Joga Bonito Tournament. The mobile website allowed them to see the results and download everything wherever they where.

Parlin is the playful vision of a city, consisting of many elements seen before in Berlin and in Paris. In Parlin both are capitals are shown, confronted, compared and finally merged to a new ideal city. Parlin was shown as an exhibition project for Designmai 2005 in Berlin. The main exhibition objects were a 12 meter long collage and an electric memory game.

Lars Langemeier wanted to give his clients a better feeling for his work and craftsmanship, so i created a microsite with a short movie to give the audience a "little look behind the scenes" to see how he works. The movie combines regional elements in icons and the photos which are made for clients from other craftsmanship, which is a big group of the photographers clients. To add a personal touch, the sketches and notes of his projects illustrate the images.

Concept for informative musicvideos.

My diploma thesis at the university applied science in Aachen focusses on the audience-orientated design of moving images to communicate informations. The central theme is design and perception of music videos with informative content. The concept shows how short musivideo-like clips can increase and advance learnings of the audience - and how to operate with design principles in audiovisual media. Addionally the music video as audio-visual format its presented in history, structures, definitions and design - all with a focus how to use the music video to carry more important information, than only the music performance.

My name is Kristin Enseling. I am a Hamburg-based freelance designer for digital products. I develop and visualize ideas, designs and concepts for interactive communication. In addition to developing overall design solutions I execute and administrate design tasks like screen design, motion graphics and film editing.

I am currently working as an Art and Creative Director, developing design solutions for several agencies and clients like BMW, Ford, Coca Cola, Deutsche Post, Hermes and Lufthansa Technik.
